Lucarello - Natale (Nat) John, longtime resident of Hillsdale, NJ died on Friday September 3rd 2021, two weeks shy of his 90th birthday. Beloved husband of the late Patricia A. Lucarello, devoted father of Debra Lucarello Monaco and Michael Lucarello, father-in-law to Pasquale Monaco and Debra A. Lucarello, and grandpa to Michael Chester and Jenna Rose Lucarello. Nat is survived by his dear sister, Carrie Davino, and in-laws Vincent and Nancy Grolli.
Nat enlisted in the United States Navy during the Korean War and went to radioman school; he was assigned to the USS Witek (DD-848). He was an active member of The American Legion for more than 40 years and proudly served as the 2019 Grand Marshall of Hillsdale’s Memorial Day Parade. Throughout his Military and Legion service, Nat would often provide entertainment at social gatherings with his accordion or the piano, he was fondly referred to as ’the Music-man’.
Funeral from Becker Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Tuesday at 9am. Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady Mother of the Church, Woodcliff Lake, NJ at 10am. Entombment, George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus NJ. The family will receive their friends and family at the funeral home on Monday 3-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
