Patricia D. Royall

ROYALL, Patricia D., 82, of Old Tappan, NJ, passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2018. She was born in Minneapolis to Philip and Jewell Didriksen. She received her BA in Art History from Wellesley College in 1958, and earned her MS in Education and her teaching certificate from SUNY New Paltz. She taught public school and was a staff training instructor at Chase Manhattan Bank. A resident of Old Tappan since 1971, Patricia was a 45-year member of the Woman’s Club of Old Tappan and recipient of the Order of the Lily in June 2018 for her dedicated service and leadership. She was active in Trinity Reformed Church, Old Tappan for more than 40 years. Patricia is survived by her children Geoffrey, Douglas and his wife Megan, Jennifer Anderson and her husband Douglas; her granddaughter Julia Anderson; her brother Philip Didriksen; and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 49 years, Kenneth. She will be missed by so many who loved her deeply. The family will receive guests on Saturday, July 14 from 9:30-10:30 AM at Trinity Reformed Church in Old Tappan, NJ. A celebration of Patricia's life and faith will be held at the church at 10:30 AM with interment at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ at 1:30 PM. Memorial contributions can be made in Patricia's name to Columbia University Medical Center (http://cancer.columbia.edu/make-donation), the Woman’s Club of Old Tappan, or Trinity Reformed Church in Old Tappan.
