Patrick was born in the Bronx, New York to Anthony and Yolanda Randazzo. He attended Villanova University and earned his law degree from Seton Hall University, where he would also serve on the board of trustees for several years.
He exemplified his devotion to helping others with his service as a United States Marine Corps reservist. He then went on to practice law in Westwood, New Jersey for over 50 years, while also serving as municipal court judge of Woodcliff Lake for 26 years.
Patrick also devoted his life to his unwavering Catholic faith, as a former Trustee of Our Lady Mother of the Church. He committed to values of loyalty, charity, and love for thy neighbor. Those who were lucky enough to cross paths with him experienced his exceptional, genuine kindness.
Despite these many accomplishments, Patrick’s caring family was his greatest gift. Along his journey through life, he met his lifetime companion Laura. They would share 57 priceless years in marriage, with an admirable relationship that showed others around them what it meant to have true love.
Patrick was the proud father of three children: Christian, Amy, and Gregory, as well as their spouses Jeniene, Christopher, and Courtney, respectively. He was a revered and benevolent grandfather to Maddyn, Grace, Max, Jack, Morgan, Carsten, Mason, James, and Will. As well, he is survived by his brother Anthony Randazzo, and his wife Marjorie.
Patrick was a lifelong Villanova Wildcat, always sporting the “V” and enthusiastically rooting for both their basketball and football teams. He was also a loyal New York Jets and New York Mets fan. When he wasn’t watching sports, he loved to play golf and bodysurf at OCNJ.
Patrick will be lovingly remembered for his profound love and devotion to his family, pride for his children and grandchildren, remarkable faith, and of course his love for ice cream, Star Tavern pizza, and red Chuckles. Those close to him will especially remember the unmistakable presence he brought to any room he was in. Even through countless hardships over the past several years, his ability to remain positive and humorous was incredible. Not only did Patrick see the light in everything around him, but he brought light into the lives of everyone he knew.
