Desmet, Paul H. of Hillsdale, NJ passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016. Paul’s parents were Leopold and Marie Desmet of Hawthorne, NJ. He is the beloved husband of Suzanne Desmet and devoted father of Katherine Desmet and her husband Lee Trager. He is the dear brother of Barbara Woodruff, Nancy Sherman, and Linda Gangi, and loving uncle to 4 nephews and 5 nieces. Paul and Suzanne enjoyed traveling, camping, nature, and photography. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Friday, September 23 from 2-4 and 7-9PM. Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, September 24 at 10:30AM. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ. Donations in Paul’s memory may be given to Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK) in New York City.
