BELLANTONI, Peter J., 97, of Norwood, NJ, formerly of Hillsdale and Brooklyn, NY passed away on Thursday, December 19th, 2024. Peter is survived by his beloved wife Josephine; his children Patricia Eichenlaub and her husband Rick, JoAnn and her husband Michael and Peter; his nine grandchild, whom he was very proud of, Kimberly (Tymish), Ricky, Keira, Tori, Michelle (Arthur), Ian, Robert (Shiori), P.J. and Samantha. Peter was the beloved great-grandfather of Liliana and Ariana. He is predeceased by his parents Pasquale and Mary (nee Amore) Bellantoni; his sister Domenica as well as his daughter in-law Denise.
Peter was famous for his witty, dry sense of humor as well as his kindness and willingness to listen. Peter was an avid bowler and stream fisherman, although he always claimed the best catch of his life was the love of his life, Jo.
The family will receive guests at Becker Funeral Home on Sunday, December 22nd from 2-7PM. A Memorial Mass celebrating Peter's life and faith will be held at St. Anthony R.C.
