Nelson, Ralph Ellis Jr., 76, of Teaneck, NJ (born in NYC) passed away on Friday, March 24, 2017 in Saddle River, NJ. He was the only child of Ralph Ellis Nelson Sr. and Minnie Singletary Nelson, who preceded him in death. Ralph Nelson was predeceased by his first wife Maudelle Evans. To their union, three children were born: Montena R. Nelson, Regina M. Nelson, Kimberly E. Nelson, all of Stone Mountain, GA. His present wife is L. Renee Nelson and her two sons are Jamal Martin and Remy Braddock who Ralph raised as his own. Ralph was one of the first black firemen in the Township of Teaneck and proudly served for 32 years.
