

Ralph M. Richetti, 81 of the Township of Washington passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on October 26, 2014. Born in Manhattan, NY, Ralph lived in the Bronx, NY before moving to the Township of Washington 53 years ago. He graduated from Cardinal Hayes High School in NY, NY and Baruch College, City University of New York. Ralph worked for many years in the textile exporting industry and was the owner of Richetti Textiles. Ralph proudly served his nation in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Good Counsel for 50 + years and a member of the Knights of Columbus Mother Seton Council #5427 in the Township of Washington and a member of the Township of Washington Golden Seniors. He was predeceased by his parents, Miguel and Louise (Braconi) Richetti. Ralph is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Gloria (Di Lorenzo) Richetti; his daughters, Diana Black and her husband Edward, and Cynthia Leonard and her husband John; his son, Michael Richetti and his wife Laura; his sister, Doris Nolan; his brother, John Richetti and his wife Deirdre; his 8 grandchildren, Matthew, Amanda and Allyson Black, Alyssa, Brianna, John and Ryan Leonard and Michael Richetti Jr. as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Becker Funeral Home on Thursday 9am with a 10am funeral mass at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Township of Washington, NJ. Entombment will follow in Garden of Memories, Township of Washington, NJ. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-8pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Knights of Columbus Mother Seton Council #5427, 79 Pascack Road Township of Washington, NJ 07676 in Ralph’s memory.
