Raymond J. Donnelly, Sr.

DONNELLY, Raymond J., Sr., 82, of Emerson, NJ, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2016. He was born in the Bronx, NY to Thomas and Helen Donnelly. Beloved husband of the late Laura Donnelly. Devoted father of Thomas, Raymond, Jr. and his wife Laurie, John and his wife Natalie. Loving grandfather of Dana, Nicole, Kathryn, Raymond, III and Lauryn. Dear brother of Thomas and his wife Jeanette, and William and his wife Susan. He is predeceased by his brothers Daniel and John, and his sister Patricia. Before retiring, Ray was Superintendent for the Borough of Emerson and a parishioner of Church of the Assumption. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Monday, December 19 from 2-4 and 6-9PM. The Funeral Mass celebrating Ray’s life and faith will be held at Church of the Assumption, Emerson, NJ on Tuesday, December 20 at 10AM. Entombment will follow at Garden of Memories, Twp. of Washington, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ray’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
