Raymond Martin Geraghty

"Raymond Geraghty of Hillsdale passed away on December 11th,2025. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on February 14th 1963, where he met his first wife, Kimberley, and had their eldest children Martin and Brian. Later in life, he lived in Rockland County, where he met his second wife, Kristina, and had their younger children Aedan and Owen. He was a proud and devoted father to all four of his children, who love and miss him dearly. He is also survived by his brother Thomas, his sister-in-law Maureen, and their children Nicholas and Devin. He is predeceased by his mother Janet Geraghty (née Balcerzak) and his father Thomas Geraghty. He was a lifelong member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 15 where he met innumerable dear and meaningful friends and manned tower cranes across New York City.

He will be remembered fondly by all who loved him for his fastidious devotion to symmetry, his acumen at Scattergories, and his ability to surprise you with a witty quip."

Visitation will take place at Becker Funeral Home, located at 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ 07675, on December 15, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm and again from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Church of the Presentation, 271 West Saddle River Road, Upper Saddle River, New Jersey 07458, on December 16, 2025, at 11:15 am.
