

Raymond "Ray" Charles Trochanowski, 88, of Emerson, NJ passed away on August 10, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Ray is survived by his devoted and beloved wife of 51 years, Kathy, his daughter, Amy, son-in-law Regis Haines, and cherished granddaughters: Ava and Anna Haines of Pompton Plains. He is predeceased by his beloved son, Victor, parents, Andrew and Sadie Trochanowski and brother, Andrew.
A USAF veteran earned his bachelor's degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Ray's career in publishing as an advertising copywriter in New York City spanned nearly twenty years. Ray was later employed by the U.S. Postal Service, Westwood branch, and remained grateful for the many lifelong friendships he made there.
Ray was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Ray made the ultimate sacrifice of becoming a living kidney donor to his son. Ray cherished his loved ones and was a devoted family man. Travel was his joy. Ray also enjoyed nature and conservation.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that memorial contributions be made in Ray's name to Alzheimer's Association@ Alz.Org./Donate or Catholic Medical Mission Board @act.cmmb.org.
Family and friends are invited to call at a visitation held at Becker Funeral Home, Friday, August 15 from 3-7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Church of the Assumption, Emerson, NJ, on Saturday, August 16, at 10am. Committal will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.
