In addition to the love of his family, Richard devoted his life to his love of design as a successful architect. Richard attended Brooklyn Technical High School, graduating in 1969. He spent his career designing hotels across the world, starting as a draftsman at WBTL Architects upon graduating from Oklahoma State University in 1973. He spent many years with WBTL, ultimately retiring as a partner of the firm. Although he loved being an architect, he loved being “Pa” to his granddaughters even more.
