O’DOWD, Richard D., 77, of River Vale, NJ, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2013. He was born in Nyack, NY to Charles and Hannah O’Dowd. Beloved husband of Judith O’Dowd. Devoted father of James O’Dowd. Loving grandfather of Colleen and James. Dear brother of Charles O’Dowd and the late John O’Dowd. Richard was the Plumbing Inspector and Building Code Official for several towns in the Pascack Valley area. The family will receive their friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Wednesday and Thursday, 6-9PM. Entombment and service will be at Garden of Memories Mausoleum, Twp. of Washington, NJ on Friday at 11:30AM.
