POWERS, Richard J, 80, Of River Vale, NJ, passed away on Friday, December 15th, 2017. Richard is survived by his dear wife of 51 years Jean; his children Richard and his wife Mary and Christopher and his wife Elizabeth as well as his grandchildren Ryan and Emma. Richard spent his whole working career with the NY Times Newspaper. The family will receive guests at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Rd, Westwood, NJ on Thursday, December 21st from 3-8PM. A Mass celebrating Richard's life and faith will be held at Our Lady Of Victories R.C. Church in Harrington Park, NJ on Friday, December 22nd at 10:30AM with entombment to follow at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah, NJ.
