Rita Concilla

Known to so many simply as "Mama Rita," she was always smiling, the life of the party, and brought warmth, laughter, and love wherever she went. She was blessed with many years of beautiful friendships, and her warm smile, generous heart, and love of bringing people together made everyone feel like family. Her welcoming spirit and joyful personality touched everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Rita was the beloved wife of the late Dominick Concilla. The loving mother of Renee Jenkins, Regina Concilla and Jim Lukievics, and Jennifer Montalbano and her husband, Vincent ‘VJ” Montalbano. She was the cherished grandmother of Jacqueline and her husband, Andrew, Vincent, Olivia, and Marissa, and the proud great-grandmother of Penelope.

Rita was predeceased by her beloved husband, Dominick; her sister, Marie Diamond, and her brother, John Fornazor. She was also preceded in death by several dear friends who held a special place in her heart and shared many cherished memories throughout her life.

Rita is also survived by her loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and many dear friends whose lives were touched by her kindness, warmth, and unforgettable spirit.

Mama Rita's kindness, infectious smile, and love for bringing family and friends together will forever be remembered by all whose lives she touched.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ.

A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Township of Washington, NJ. Entombment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Rita's memory, honoring her generous spirit and the kindness she shared with others throughout her life.
