Robert H. Molke

Robert H. “Bob” Molke, peacefully passed away on November 9, 2024 at the age of 93. Bob grew up in New Milford, NJ and raised his family with his wife, Betty, in Westwood, NJ, then enjoyed later years in Myrtle Beach, SC.

He proudly served our country in the United States Navy from 1951 to 1955. After being honorably discharged, he worked for NJ Bell as a lineman and later as a service manager with AT&T. After retiring in 1990, he was a teacher’s aide at Bergen County Vocational High School for 4 years before he officially retired in 1995.

Bob was an avid golfer and played many rounds at Myrtle Beach National Golf Course. He enjoyed tending his flower gardens and loved watching his favorite baseball team, the NY Yankees. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.

Bob was predeceased by his beloved wife, Elizabeth Molke (nee Eagan) in 1999. He is also predeceased by his daughter, Marguerite “Peg” Hagelin, his brother, Herb, his brother-in-law, Frank Eagan and son-in-law, Brian Walsh.

Bob is survived by his daughter Kathleen Walsh, son Bob, and son-in-law Michael Hagelin. He is a proud grandfather to Kate (Daniel), Kevin, Ryan, (Pauli), Daniel (Sarah), Tara (Ken), Jack (Justin), Jennifer (Nate) and Rob (John). Beloved Great Grandfather to Rebecca, Andrew, Teddy, James, Daniel Jr., Conor, Cameron, Paige, Jade, Ellie, and Emmilene, Bob is also survived by his loving companion Anne Blatz.
