I miss my karate buddy. We became friends 6 years ago waiting for our kids in the dojo waiting room. He was always sharing funny stories and was truly one of the BEST listeners I’ve ever met. He would remember to ask about details of something I told him about my family sometimes weeks or even months later. Who does that? Rob. The one thing that always was the common theme was the abundance of love and pride he had for his family. Rest in peace my fellow Queens friend ❤️

My heartfelt condolences to you and your family on the passing of Rob. I will always remember his wonderful involvement in his children's lives. As Ryan and Christina's teacher, I saw how much he loved his children, cared about their success, and enjoyed watching them grow. I'm praying for your comfort as you grieve his loss. God bless you all.

I had the honor of working with Rob over the last 20 years serving as his CPA - from when he opened MIRO to witnessing him and Mike turn the company into a successful business due to his hard work and dedication. He was a great guy and will be missed dearly. RIP Rob!

How can you narrow down so many years of friendship to just 1 memeory, impossible. First, I want to extend my deepest condolences to the Murphy/Muti families. Rob was such a great guy. We met in middle school but really didn't start speaking until high school. And through our high school years we were your typical teenagers. One story that always made me and Rob laugh was one night we were just walking around town looking for something to do when we stumbled upon a for sale sign on someones lawn. We decided to take it and put it on someone else's lawn. We joked and laughed about it for years. And the 1 day we were at our friends house (Hank Schmitt) telling the story and as we finished telling it (Harold Schmitt) started laughing and said that he woke up one morning to a for sale sign on his lawn. And I think what made it so funny, was at the time we did this we didn't know who lived there. And after all those years (over 20+) the best part of the story was that I wound up becoming Hank's girlfriend and Rob became his best friend. I will miss our conversations on you D&D runs and the midday talks we had. Lots of inside jokes, and him just being an ear when I needed one. Me and Lori always had our jokes about him and Hank. I thank god for the bond that the 4 of us had, and that can never be taken away. Again to the families my heart goes out to all of you. And knowing him and having him as a friend has made me a better person. Heaven gained an angel. Rest easy my friend, until we meet again please watch over us all. You will never be forgotten and I will forever hold you in my heart. Lori, Ryan, Christina, and Marilyn you all hold a special place in my heart

I was so shocked to hear of Rob's passing. He was such a wonderful person. One thing I remember very clearly. When my son Stephen died, Rob and Laurie came to my house with food so that we could eat. No words can express my sympathy for Laurie, Ryan and
Christina. He will always be in your hearts.

I had the greatest admiration for Rob. I remember giving the boys their first printing home in my shed. I also remember coming up with the name that stuck with them throughout their endeavors. I will truly miss his wit. God took him and placed him in his garden of flowers.

I miss the daily phone calls on the D&D coffee runs. My father and I have known you since the 10th grade. You were like a brother to me. You were always there for us no matter what we needed and we were there for you in return. We had a very special strong bond. We used to always joke about replacing 2 windows in your first house when neither of us had ever done that but they sure did turn out good. I am going to miss you at out annual clam bakes. This year was our 13th year straight. I want the entire Murphy family to know my father and I are always here for you.

Your friend forever and will never be forgotten.

Rob was a genuinely good person and so very funny! I can think of many times that he made me cackle in laughter.

I wish I could write something to alleviate the emotions you feel right now but there are no words. Sending virtual hugs and persistent strength. For the past 3 nights, I have lit a candle for Rob and sent positive intentions for healing to the family.

Much love to you all,
Elyse Marino
