Rose R. Corso

Corso, Rose R. (nee Romano) of Maywood, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday, January 11, 2013, at the age of 88. She was born in Hoboken, NJ and lived in Maywood for 50 years. Beloved wife of the late Gabriel X. Corso. Devoted mother of Gabriel J. Corso of Emerson, his wife Pam and two grandchildren that she adored, Francis and Krista. Dear sister of Yolanda Haeker, Anne Montagne, Elaine Schimmenti, and several nieces and nephews. Loving daughter of the late Joseph and Teresa Romano and sister Mena Mancuso. Rose was a retired sales clerk with Sterns, Paramus, NJ for over 25 years. She was a warm and loving woman, gifted with a generosity of spirit, kindness to others, an intuitive intelligence and keen wit. Her interests included reading, cooking, music, spending time with her family and friends, and helping others.

Funeral Liturgy at Church of The Assumption, Emerson, NJ on Wednesday at 10:30 AM. Cremation private. The family will receive their friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
