Rose Marie Farrelly

Rose Marie Farrelly (née Teevan) passed away peacefully at home on January 13, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her beloved parents, Helen and Frank Teevan, and her brother, Frank Teevan. She is survived by her devoted husband, Luke; her cherished children, Desmond, Denise, and Nicole; her siblings, John, Garry, and Mary; her adored grandchildren Luka, Frankie, Zoe, Cecilia, and Cian; her sons in law Chris and Derek; daughter in law, Florencia; and sister in law, Stephanie. She also leaves behind a wide circle of extended family, lifelong friends, and the many people who were lucky enough to call her part of their tribe.

Rose was the heart of her family and the soul of every gathering. Kind, loving, and endlessly generous, she had a gift for making everyone feel welcome and seen. Her home was always open — whether you were family, a neighbor, or one of her children’s many friends who wandered in and never quite left. To so many, Rose was a second mother, offering words of wisdom, laughter, and love. If you needed a place to land, a hot meal, or someone to listen, Rose was there.

She had a joyful spirit and a wonderful sense of humor that could lift even the heaviest day. Rose loved to dance, and whenever music started, she was usually the first on her feet, smiling and pulling others along with her. She truly lit up every room she walked into, and her energy, laughter, and warmth are unforgettable.

Above all, Rose loved her family fiercely. Her greatest pride was her children and grandchildren, and she poured her heart into caring for them. The love she gave so freely will continue to live on through them and through the countless lives she touched.

Rose will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her kindness, her laughter, her open heart, and the way she made everyone feel like they belonged. Her legacy is one of love, joy, and family — and it will endure in all who were blessed to know her.

The family will receive their friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on THURSDAY, January 15, 2026 4-8PM. Funeral Mass at Church of the Presentation, located at 271 West Saddle River Road, Upper Saddle River, New Jersey, 07458 on SATURDAY, January 17, 2026 at 1PM.
