So many fond memories. Playing ball in the street, snowball fights , the sand box and digging with the real metal tonka trucks. Feeding the bunnies . Your smile and laugh is etched in my heart. May you Rest In Peace. 

I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to meet Uncle Roy and Grandpa, and I cherish the memories that we made up state that weekend. I will never forget how incredibly full I was after Uncle Roy force fed me steak, shrimps, and scallops until I almost exploded, but that might have been one of the best meals I have ever eaten. Roy would slap down another cut of steak before I could even finish the one on my plate... I did not even get a chance to eat the salmon, and I never heard the end of it from Uncle Roy. He was persistent even after we left, and always said he was going to cook me up some more salmon every time we talked on the phone. Of course we still managed to find room for ice cream. Uncle Roy and Grandpa will be very dearly missed. Keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Jake.

We know Uncle Roy will be remembered for the joy and fun he brought into this world!  He lived and loved passionately and will always be a light that now shines brightly from above.

Roy, there are very few people I would say were like a brother to me. You have been for the last 35 years and always will be one of them. If you had made it out here as we planned a couple months ago, you would have owned LA and LA would have loved you like everyone else. Never without a smile on your face, an incredible joke or an animated story only you could tell. You had a personality that brightened the day of anyone lucky enough to cross your path. I’ll always remember the years of unwavering friendship. You truly were one of a kind and it’s fair to say the entire world has become a little dimmer. I can see that smile on your face now knowing you’ll live on in every single one of us. Love you and miss you beyond words.  Your friend always.  Dan

I can’t believe that you’re gone. I will miss seeing you.  We met in 2015 when I started working at PrimePay and I just knew you were one of the best guys ever. And then when you were the bartender at the Christmas party that year you were the best bartender ever. You always took care of me at work and you always took care of all of us.  You will be so missed my friend. Love you buddy.💜

  I met Roy in Economics class at University of Hartford 1986.  We hit it off right away. After college we got the same job together selling copiers for Lanier and then MCS Cannon. As soon as we met we were attached at the hip. Staying at his house all the time.  Going upstate  to work on his house. Fishing etc... 
   Unfortunately in 2001 I took a job in Rode Island and only saw him on holidays and when he visited for about ten years. I was living on a lake and wanted to get a little boat. Roy’s like, no problem. In a week he was up with a 16 foot Starcraft. He came to see me often. I lost friends and family in 911 and Roy was there. I broke my disks in back in Rode Island and Roy was my biggest support. 
   Roy was always thinking of others. He was the nicest guy. Over the years we were close and far in our relationship. I’m so grateful I went to see you the week before you passed. We had such a great talk and made some great plans.

I was not doing well.  My wife left me 2 weeks earlier and I was being fired.  I was miserable, lost, and depressed.  Walking around aimlessly.  I needed help and knew it.  I then made the call……to Roy.   “Hey Roy, its Dan.”  “Hey Dan, how are you doing.”  “Not well, I’m in really bad shape.”  “I know, I’m coming right now to pick you up.  Just stay there.”  And so he did.  Immediately.  I found an ability to smile and laugh that night for the 1st time in weeks.  And during that Spring and Summer, he was with me constantly and helped me get through the most painful time of my life.  Why did I call Roy?  He was a good friend but I had many other friends, some of whom I spent much more time with.  I called him because I knew he was the guy.  The guy who would be there for me at my worst.  Because that’s who he was.  

I wish I could have done more for him.

I’m truly sorry to hear of Roy’s passing. I have very fond memories of him and the time we spent together at Floodwood. He was alway larger than life and was always our main motivator when we were doing anything at camp. He helped me through some tough days while we worked at Floodwood.  Unfortunately we did not stay in touch over the years since we worked at camp but I was fortunate enough to see him a few years ago at a reunion and true to form, he was still the most upbeat person there. I’m sure he will be missed by all! I will keep  him and you all in my prayers. RIP Roy.

Roy was my brother from day one. 35 years of non-stop laughs and friendship. From the good ol' days at U of Hartford, until the very end. So many great stories, from many great memories! Like for many of us, words can't say how much I appreciate you and will miss you! You'll never be too far away, my brother! And the Pearsalls will always be part of my family. Thank you. I love you. God bless you, your dad, your mom, your brother and the rest of us lucky enough to call you family and/or friend. 

Roy, you were one of a kind. You always had a smile on your face, and an amazing story to share of your latest adventure. I will always remember the good times we had together, and wish we could have had more of them. Thank you for your generosity and your laughter. I am a better person for having known you, and while your time in this life was cut way too short, the impression that you made on all of us will live on forever in our hearts. Words cannot express how sorry I am that you've left us so abruptly, and my condolences go out to the Pearsall family. You are sorely missed brother. 

Our sincere condolences to the family.  We are very shocked and saddened by this news.   Roy was a great friend and fishing partner. I had the privilege of being Roy’s fishing guide for 25 years on Gananoque Lake, Ontario.  Many funny memories and good times spent in the boat and on shore dinners.  He will be greatly missed but fondly remembered for these days we spent fishing together on Gananoque Lake.  With sympathy, Bill Warren and family.

Way too early my friend!  A real, true, unconditional friend. Roy would give you your shirt off his back and expect nothing in return. We spoke April 15 and caught up on good times in the past and how you were to visit me in the near future on your swing across country. Without a doubt Roy was bmoc at UHa all because his huge personality and kindness. A great friend and I wish Mrs Pearsall peace during these terrible days. Thinking and missing you Roy. There are some people you meet along the way who you’re always telling others about . Roy Boy was one of those guys.  Hartford was a wild time and you led the way.  I only wish you knew how much you meant to so many who you touched. Perhaps you did, I sure hope so. Too young to be gone.

You were the first person I met at the University of Hartford 35 years ago and we had a lot of good times together. Was looking forward to going to your house in upstate NY sad that we kept putting it off. The world is a different place since you departed. 

There are no words that can comfort the family, his friends or myself for the loss of this greatest man I have ever had the please of talking to on the phone for 30 years.   I have always been his Tennessee girl and he has always been my Jersey guy.  All the memories we shared are buried deep in my heart until we meet in heaven. My dear friend. Today I heard that you had left us. My heart is so heavy and I am in disbelief that you are gone. I would always say to you that you had the most beautiful blue eye's on the world and you would laugh so much. Sorry for not keeping a promise of finding that Serbian women for you as I been promising to you for past 15 year's 😆 but you always said that I should just keep trying. Last time we spoke on the phone even your Mom asked who is making you laugh so much. My dear Roy, may Lord give you eternal peace and you will never be forgotten. Thank you for being a friend. One of the nicest guys I have had the priveledge of knowing.  Some of my best memories are things we did and experienced together.  Roy would give you the shirt off his back, and sneak off with your lighter. I had hoped to have further adventures with him, but he passed away yesterday and I will sorely miss him.
