DeGENNARO, Sal Joseph, “Joe”, 87, of Hillsdale, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2017. He was born in Brooklyn, NY to Salvatore and Lucy DeGennaro. Beloved husband of 62 years to Evelyn DeGennaro. Devoted father of June Dano and Jeannette DeGennaro. Dear father-in-law of Dante Dano. Loving grandfather of Nicole Dano. Joe served our country proudly in Korea during the Korean War as a member of the U.S. Army. He retired after many years in the printing profession, having worked for Commerce Printing and Merriam Studios and later was the owner of JODEE Printing, all located in New York City. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Friday, December 22 from 2-4 and 7-9PM. Entombment will be private.
