Sandra A. McCarthy

She was born in Teaneck, NJ on November 6, 1933 and resided in Northvale, Dumont and Old Tappan.

Sandy is predeceased by her parents William T. Armstrong and Nina Dixon Armstrong, her brother Samuel Armstrong and her 2 sons John W. McCarthy and Kevin E. McCarthy.

Sandy is survived by her sisters Nina “Chip” Saelzer and Barbara Shook, her 4 loving children and their spouses, Colleen P. Holdsworth and her husband Donald, Maureen L. Eller, Michael J. McCarthy and his wife Marlene and Sandra E. DePalma and her husband Rudolph.

She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren and her former husband, the father of her children John J. McCarthy and his wife Bernadette.

Sandy is also lovingly remembered by her many aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be held at St. Pius X R.C. Church, 268 Old Tappan Road, Old Tappan, NJ on Friday, May 3, 2013 from 10 AM to 11AM. A funeral mass will be celebrated immediately following at 11AM. Interment will be on May 18, 2013 at Noon at the Old Tappan Cemetery, Washington Avenue, Old Tappan, NJ 07675.
