Sean Healy

Cherished husband of 57 years to Maureen (nee Lynch). Beloved father of Geraldine and her husband Mark Marotta, Caroline and her husband Jay Hanley, Bernadette and her husband Peter Reilly and Sean and his wife Christine Healy. Treasured grandfather of Conor, Grace, Liam, Jack, Aidan, Sean, Sophia, Daniela, Eoin, and Niamh.

Predeceased in death by his siblings Paudie, Jeremiah, Daniel and Kathy.

He had a love for Irish music. He played the button accordion, attended many Irish dances with his wife and countless Irish Feis competitions with the entire Healy family. Sean was a member of the Kerrymen’s Association in NYC and Bergen Irish Association. Sean worked at St. Raymond’s Cemetery. He was an avid sports fan: he coached soccer, baseball and gaelic football. His love of sports was his lifelong passion especially his love for Gaelic football and hurling. He won many hurling championships alongside his brothers.

Family will receive friends at the Becker Funeral Home 219 Kinderkamack Rd. Westwood, NJ on Sunday, April 7th from 2-6pm. Funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Church in Oradell, NJ at 11am, April 8th. Burial will follow at St. Raymond’s Cemetery in the Bronx.
