Sharyn L. Riker

RIKER, Sharyn L, 66, of Allendale, NJ, formerly of Spring Lake Heights, Harrington Park and Saddle Brook, NJ, passed away on February 27th, 2016. Sharyn was a graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas in 1971. She was an administrative assistant for Ontario Foods and Lord & Taylor in the Monmouth Mall. The happiest times of her life were the 30+ years she spent in Spring Lake Heights, where she was also a communicant at St. Catherine’s RC Church. Sharyn is survived by her second cousin Dolores Speciale and family as well as dear friends Bob and Kathy Pietras, Joan Whitlock, Irv Lowe, Agi Ward and her children and everyone in the Royal Court Apartments of Spring Lake Heights. She is predeceased by her parents Jay Riker and Veronica Christian, grandparents Raymond and Marion Christian, aunt and uncle Catherine and Russell Christian and dear friend Jean Murphy. The family will receive guests at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood on Tuesday, March 1st from 2-4 and 7-9PM. A Mass celebrating Sharyn’s life and faith will be held at Assumption RC Church, Emerson, NJ on Wednesday at 10AM with private cremation to follow.
