Shirley H. Kolkebeck

Shirley H. Kolkebeck (Kopchik), 60 years old, of Harrington Park, NJ passed away peacefully in her sleep while on vacation in the Cayman Islands on February 18, 2013. Born in Bridgeport, CT, she has lived in Harrington Park for 35 years. Shirley was a teacher for 23 years in the Ridgewood Public Schools. She was a member of the Nyack Boat Club and the Executive Women’s Golf Association. She was predeceased by her sister, Audrey Toigo and is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, Ken Kolkebeck; her sons, Keith Kolkebeck and his wife Jessica and Scott Kolkebeck and his wife Ann; her parents, John and Helen Kopchik; her brother, Jack Kopchik; her grandchildren, Timothy, Owen, Selden, Anjali and Jack; and her father-in-law, Kenneth Kolkebeck. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday and Sunday 2-6 pm at the Becker Funeral Home. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Monday 10am at the Community Church of Harrington Park, Harrington Park, NJ.
