Theresa "Terri" Lardaro

Theresa was born in Manhattan and raised in the Bronx with her parents and three brothers. She attended nursing school at St. Raphael's in New Haven, Connecticut, starting a long and successful career as a nurse and educator. Terri moved to Dumont, NJ in 1973, where she lived for thirty years, until she moved to Westwood, where she lived until 2023. Among her many accomplishments, Theresa served as a nurse and clinician at Jacobi Hospital in the Bronx, a nursing supervisor at Pascack Valley Hospital in Westwood, a volunteer of the Surrogate's Court in Hackensack, a lecturer at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York and a professor of nursing in Westchester, NY.

She is survived by her daughter, The Honorable Elizabeth A. Lardaro, her son-in-law Richard Bodin, and her two granddaughters, Madeleine and Sophia.

Wake hours will be from 1-3pm and 5-7pm on Friday, June 26 at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, June 27 at 9:30 a.m. at Church of the Assumption, 29 Jefferson Avenue, Emerson, NJ.
