It's July 12th. (Tom's funeral date) and I'm still working on accepting this.
I did not attend the services today nor have I made a personal visit to Jeanne and family across the street.
All the people on Valley Brook mourn the passing of our dear neighbor.
His friendliness will be missed.
His booming voice will be missed.
His hearty laugh will be missed.

Taking out the trash will never be the same.

I was a Court Clerk in Family Division at the Passaic County. Always looking forward to hear oral arguments in matrimonial when Mr. Raimondi was to appear in Court. It was like watching a good fight. But his arguments were all so persuasive that his adversaries were no match. I will truly miss Mr. Raimondi’s famous words to me, “Madam Clerk.” Just a great attorney and a true gentleman. My thoughts and prayers goes out to the Raimondi family. Rest In Peace Mr. Raimondi.

We couldn't have asked for better neighbors than Jeanne and Tom when we moved to Emerson over 25 years ago. Tom always told us over the years that our children would grow up in the blink of an eye and to enjoy them. He certainly practiced what he preached. It's evident by the close bond he shared with his children and their children that he appreciated every moment. We will always remember Tom as dependable, gracious, generous and, as so many have noted - a true gentleman. Tom was always willing to offer advise or assistance, legal or otherwise. We looked up to Tom and will miss his smile even when we'd see him just taking the garbage out. He leaves behind one of the strongest and closest families we know..

I have had the privilege of litigating multiple contentious matters with Tom who always comported himself as a consummate gentlemen and a zealous advocate. The center of his life was his family and grandchildren. He will be missed.

When I think of our good friend Tom, the words that come to mind are gracious, polite, considerate, cheerful, humble and most of all honorable. My heartfelt condolences to Jeanne, his children, grandchildren and his entire family. He truly was a Hall of Fame Lawyer and a Hall of Fame Human Being.

I always considered Tom a friend of mine and an asset to his community.
He was of great help to me as the Borough Attorney during my term as Mayor of Emerson, and will be missed by all who knew him.

Tom was widely regarded as one of the leading family law attorneys in the state. He was also widely regarded as a consummate professional and a true gentleman. When I was assigned to the Family Division in Passaic County, he was one of the first lawyers to welcome me and ease the transition from the Civil Division. He appeared before me many times and always treated everyone with courtesy and respect. His last appearance before me was right before he left for vacation. As always, he was looking forward to spending some quality time with his family. He will surely be missed by the bar, bench and his family and friends.

When I became a judge, I was assigned to the Passaic County Vicinage. I was surely unfamiliar with the ways of being a jurist and a stranger to this wonderful Passaic County bar. Tom welcomed me. He showed me the way to be a vigorous, caring and tenacious advocate for his clients and the way to be an honorable and respectful adversary. As the years went by, our conversations expanded to the great love he had for his family and the joy he received from his grandchildren. He will be so very missed but he will remain in my heart forever.

We were classmates. He was President of JCSC Class of 1966. So many great memories of our times together in Hudson County and LBI. A gracious man who welcomed people with open arms. He was the consummate family man and friend.
