Thomas Evan Willams

WILLIAMS, Thomas E., of Twp. of Washington, NJ, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2014. He was born in New York City to John Glyndwr and Eleanor Williams. Beloved husband of Karla Williams. Devoted father of Evan of Twp. of Washington, NJ; Thomas of Atlanta, GA; David and Bryan, both of Westport, CT. Dear brother of Rhys (Aileen)Williams. He was predeceased by his sister Wendy (Claude) Flottes of Lavernose, France.

Before retiring, Tom taught mathematics and German, coached and was chairman of the foreign language department at Pascack Valley High School. He was part of the original staff that founded the Pascack Valley Regional High School district. Tom was an Army Veteran of the Korean War and Purple Heart recipient.

The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Tuesday, June 3 from 4-8 PM. The Funeral Service celebrating Tom’s life will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 4 at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home of Paramus would be appreciated.
