William will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who knew him. In the steady way he moved through life, he showed a quiet strength and a sincere appreciation for the people and moments that mattered most. His love of music, time outdoors, and seeing new places reflected a spirit that found meaning in both simple pleasures and the wider world—whether he was playing guitar, enjoying a round of golf, or traveling.
William is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Edone) Heina; his step sons, Anthony Edone and Jason Edone (Jennifer); his siblings, Meg Balter (David (deceased)), Robert Heina, Susan Gianotta (Angelo), Janice Deevy (Mark), and Kenneth Heina (Bonny); and his aunt, Mary Piretra. He was predeceased by his father, William Heina, and his mother, Ann Marie Piretra.
Visitation will be held at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ 07675, on October 15, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Becker Funeral Home on October 15, 2026, at 3:00 pm.
