He was a beloved husband to Maryann for 66 years; devoted father to Michele Haag and her husband Thomas and Bill Marucci and his wife Tracy and loving grandfather to five granddaughters Tori Haag, Alexandra Haag, Samantha Haag , Madelyn Marucci and Melanie Marucci.
Bill was born in Yonkers, NY on November 21, 1936, to John and Norina Marucci. He was one of six siblings, he was predeceased by his sister Violet Buese, brothers Bernard Marucci, John Marucci , and Philip Marucci, he leaves behind his brother Thomas Marucci . He graduated from Bergenfield High School and worked as a lithographer his entire life.
He proudly served his country in the US Army during peacetime from 1955 until 1958.
Bill’s greatest joy was his family, especially his wife, children and grandchildren who meant the world to him. He will be forever loved and deeply missed.
Visitation will be held at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ 07675, on November 4, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 3:00pm and 5:00pm to 7:00 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 668 Ridgewood Road, Township of Washington, NJ 07676, on November 5, 2026, at 10:00 am. A committal service will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, 234 Paramus Road, Paramus, NJ 07652.
