McDONOUGH, William Michael, 88, of Emerson, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2015. He was born in the Bronx, NY to Patrick and Bridget McDonough. Beloved husband of the late Anne Elizabeth McDonough. Devoted father of Kevin Patrick McDonough and his wife Donna, and William Michael McDonough, Jr. and his wife Cheryl. Loving grandfather of Kevin Patrick, Megan Ann, Mackenzie Lee, William Michael III, and Madison Rose. Before retiring, Bill was a Salesman for Brooks Brothers. He was a parishioner of Church of the Assumption, Emerson, NJ and was a member of Knights of Columbus Council # 5819. He served our country in World War II as a member of the U.S. Navy. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Friday, July 24 from 9-11AM with a religious service to follow at 11AM. Interment to follow at Westwood Cemetery, Westwood, NJ. The family has respectfully requested no flowers. Donations made in Bill's name to the Veteran's Home of Paramus would be appreciated.
