Alice Marie James

Alice Marie (Gallo) James, 80, of Hartford, beloved wife of Andree James passed away peacefully February 11, 2016 at Hartford Hospital with her family by her side. Alice was born on December 26, 1935 in Pittsburg, PA. and was the daughter of the late Peter and Rose (Colangelo) Gallo. Alice loved music and never missed an opportunity to dance. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her husband, Alice leaves her son Mark Gallo of Hartford, Bill James and his wife Jackie of Windsor and her daughter Andrea James of West Hartford. She also leaves her grandchildren, Joshua James and Valerie James along with her sisters Lydia Douboise and Ruth Pelletier. Alice was predeceased by her brothers Daniel Gallo and William Gallo along with her sister Flora Frost. A memorial service for Alice will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 10:00 am at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield.
