Angela (Roberts) Chiasson

Angela (Roberts) Chiasson, 85, of Wethersfield, beloved wife of the late Nelson Chiasson, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 25, 2016 with her family by her side at Hartford Hospital. Born in Hartford on November 5, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Martocchio) Roberts. She was a graduate of Weaver High School, where she loved singing in the choir. Angela was the owner of Angie’s Printing & Mailing in Wethersfield for many years. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, old movies, operas, and spending time with family at her beach house in Atlantic Beach, FL. More than anything she loved her family and would spend days cooking for the many holidays, dinners and get-togethers with them. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Angela will be dearly missed by her four children, Nelson J. Chiasson and wife Theresa, Joanne Catania and husband Bruce, Rosanne Arvin and husband David, and Steven Chiasson and wife Susan; 14 adored grandchildren, Kimberly, Allison, Samantha, Megan, Michael, Sherry, Lisa, Alicia, Bruce Jr., Rachel, Audrey, Jesse, Joseph and Christopher and six cherished great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her nephew, Joseph Roberts, as well as many other nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Jennie Roberts.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday (September 30) at 10 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church, 601 Silas Deane Hwy., Wethersfield. Everyone is asked to please go directly to the church. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield.
