Angela Mary Cusano

Angela “Mary” Cusano, 89, of Rocky Hill, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. Born in New Britain, Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late Leonard DiMichele and Lucy (Tosto). She enjoyed many years living in Rocky Hill and spending her summers in Westbrook, Connecticut, at the summer cottage her late husband, Libero, built for them in 1961. Angela will be remembered by all who knew her as a sweet, caring individual - but most of all as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her son, Lee Cusano, her daughter, Cathy Swepson of Griswold, her son Anthony Cusano and his wife Lauren of Westbrook and her beloved granddaughter, Vanessa, who brought so much joy to her life. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband of 51 years, Libero Cusano and her brother, Peter DiMichele.

Funeral services will begin on Tuesday, November 18 at 9:45 a.m. at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. James Church of St. Josephine Bakhita Parish, 767 Elm Street, Rocky Hill. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill. Calling hours will be Monday, November 17 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
