

Angeline ""Angie"" (Franco) Natale, 89, of Wethersfield, loving wife of the late John ""Bus Boy"" Natale, died peacefully, Wednesday (May 4, 2011) at Hartford Hospital with her family by her bedside. She was born June 20, 1921 in Hartford and was the daughter of the late John and Giovannina (Romalo) Franco. Angie and her husband owned and operated ""Whale of a Sandwich"" formerly on Wolcott Hill Rd., Wethersfield for many years. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting and being together for Sunday dinners. She will be dearly missed by her family and many friends. She is survived by daughters, Camille and her husband Frank Kolakowski, Jr. of Wethersfield and Janice Zimmerman of Rocky Hill; sons, John Natale, Jr and wife Janice of West Palm Beach, FL and Nicholas Natale and wife Sherry of Newington; her sister, Antoinette Corso of Wethersfield; brothers-in-law, Paul Cornelio of Wethersfield and Frank DiCandio of Florida; grandchildren, Kim Bell, Frank Kolakowski, III and wife Julie and Angela Natale; great grandchildren, Jared, Jessica, Jeremy, Dylan and Logan as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Angie was predeceased by two sisters, Theresa Calvo and Olga Cornelio. The family would like to thank the staff at Maple View Manor for the kindness and compassion shown to Angie and her family. Funeral service will be Monday (May 9) at 9 a.m. at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church, 601 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield. The burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill. Calling hours are Sunday (May 8) from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
