

Anita I. (Sylvain) Poulin, 88, of Wethersfield, beloved wife of the late Floyd Poulin, passed away on Monday, (March 26, 2012). Born on October 18, 1923 in Fitchburg, MA, Anita was a daughter of the late Wilfred and Eva (Bolduc) Sylvain. She worked as an accountant for the State of Connecticut Health Department until her retirement. Anita was a talented artist in her retirement years and enjoyed arts and crafts at the Senior Center in Wethersfield. She is survived by her sons, Roger of Sarasota, FL, Mark and his wife Janice of Exeter, RI, and Roy and his wife Wendy of Enfield, her daughter, Ann Marie Ayotte and her husband Wayne of New Britain; her grandchildren: Dr. Erica Twitchell and her husband Corey of West Lafayette, IN, Sarah Alward and her husband Tim of Enfield, Christopher Ayotte of New Britain, Kevin Ayotte of Towson, MD, Deborah Poulin of Warwick, RI, Brian Poulin and his wife Kate of Plymouth, MA, and Steve Poulin and his wife Kristine of Upper Saddle River, NJ; and eight great-grandchildren. Anita is also survived by her brothers, Normand of Milford and Robert of Granby and her sisters-in-law, Lorraine Sylvain of Granby, Jeanne Sylvain of Vernon, Martha Poulin of Rocky Hill and Sister Claire Roland, DHS of Hartford. She was predeceased by her brothers Gerard, Larry and Eugene and a sister-in-law Jean Sylvain. The family would like to thank the staff at Avery Heights for their kind and compassionate care.
