

Ann (Cace) Krusiewicz, 94, of Wethersfield, beloved wife of the late Sigmund Krusiewicz, passed away Tuesday (December 24, 2013). She was born on October 23, 1919 in Camden, NJ, the daughter of the late Peter and Jerga Cace. Ann was able to incorporate her joy of sewing into her work as a seamstress and had been employed by several area clothiers. She enjoyed traveling to New York and New Jersey to visit with family and had fond memories of her summer days at Coney Island. In her spare time, she loved to sew and crochet beautiful items for friends and family. She relished her time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ann is survived by a son, Michael Krusiewicz of Wethersfield; a daughter, Mary Krusiewicz of West Hartford; a daughter-in-law, Diane Krusiewicz of Wethersfield; three grandchildren, Eric (Susan) Krusiewicz of New York, NY, Ryan (Colleen) Krusiewicz of Wethersfield and Andrea (Frank) Bosco of Greenwich and great grandchildren, Dylan, Nicholas, Teegan, Rylan and Isabella. She was predeceased by a son, Peter Krusiewicz and a brother, Samuel Cace.
Funeral services will leave Saturday (December 28) at 9:15 a.m. from the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 56 Hartford Ave., Wethersfield. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Calling hours are TODAY from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Donations in Ann’s memory may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
