

Anna Maria (Silvester) Armentano, 93, of Wethersfield, beloved wife of the late Alfred Armentano passed away peacefully on Tuesday (May 12) with her family by her side. Born in Hartford on October 14, 1921, Anna Maria was the daughter of the late George and Florence (Ruotolo) Silvester. She was employed as a secretary with the CT. Department of Transportation for 39 years. Anna Maria was a wonderful cook and loved to work in her garden. She was a true dog lover and will always be remembered as a kind and generous woman to everyone she knew. Anna Maria is survived by her sisters in law, Eleanor Reddin of Wethersfield and Eva Silvester of West Hartford. In addition she will be missed by her nieces and nephews, Mark, Lisa, Gina, Eve, George and Paul. Besides her husband, Anna was also predeceased by her brothers Robert and George Silvester.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday (May 16) at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Incarnation, 544 Prospect Street, Wethersfield. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
