Anne (Stigliano) Bruno

Anne (Stigliano) Bruno, 90, of Newington, died peacefully Saturday, May 23, 2015 with her family by her side. She was born in Hartford on December 29, 1924, the youngest daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Camardo) Stigliano. Anne has been a resident of Newington since 1958, where she raised her family and made lasting friendships. She was a generous person who loved to garden and cook. Anne was proud to volunteer for Tops Club, Newington Food Bank and Jefferson House. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be dearly missed. She is survived by her children, Nancy Noyes and husband David, Janice Turick and husband John, Salvatore Bruno and wife Lauren, and John Bruno, her nine grandchildren and five great- grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Nancy Murray and brother, Daniel Stigliano. She was predeceased by her former husband, Angelo Bruno. Calling hours will be Friday (May 29) from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield followed by a Funeral Service at the funeral home at 12 noon.
