Anton Hertle, of Wethersfield, beloved husband of Debra (de Andrade), passed away Sunday, July 6, 2025. He was born September 19, 1958 in Brooklyn, New York and was the son of Anton Hertle Sr. and Rosa (Stark).
After high school, Anton graduated with a MBA from UConn and BS in Management Information Systems from Boston University. He proudly served his country in the Air Force. He worked for many years at United Health Group as an Applications Development Consultant. A man of faith, he served as a deacon at First Church of Christ in Wethersfield. He was a member of several local gun clubs. Anton also dedicated his time as treasurer for Trail Life, mentoring young men in leadership and service.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Nicole Hertle-Smith (Desmine) and Erica Rose Hertle, as well as his grandson, Ace Jackson. He was predeceased by his parents.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, July 18, 2025 at First Church of Christ in Wethersfield, 250 Main Street, Wethersfield, Connecticut 06109. In lieu of flowers, donations in Anton’s memory may be made to your choice of the following:
