Aracelis Lugo

Aracelis Lugo, 35, beloved mother to Ivellise Rivera passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 08, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Aracelis was born in Hartford on May 29, 1982 and was the daughter of Mario Lugo and Carmen Perez. Growing up in Hartford, she was a graduate of Bulkeley High School, Class of 2000 and she attended the University of Bridgeport. Aracelis was employed by CT-GI of Hartford, working there for many years where she made numerous friends. Aracelis had a boisterous personality, her presence was always known when she was in the room. Never shy, you always knew where you stood with her. Although her tough exterior masked her soft heart, Aracelis was a kind and compassionate woman who truly enjoyed being with her family and friends. Most of all, her world revolved around her daughter who was the light of her life. In addition to her parents and her beautiful daughter Ivellise and Ivellise’s father Ismael Rivera, Aracelis will be truly missed by her sisters Emely Lugo, Melitza Lugo and Jessica Lugo along with her niece Jelissa Cortez. She will also be missed by her dearest friend Marilyn Vizcarrondo and many relatives and friends. Aracelis was predeceased by her sister Valerie Lugo. A prayer service for Aracelis will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at 8 p.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield. The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to her daughter, Ivelisse Rivera.
