Still amazed that i remember the few interactions with Armando, meeting over cognac, discussing the wedding we were planning, and in general having a good time as i played too, appreciating the talent. So full of joy, so talented. The wedding was an extreme hit because the music was special, not your every day band. Our wedding song was Europa, a Santana favorite, which Armando actually played. It was a sharing event, the band, the guests and us. I still have picture scenes in my mind. Thank you Armando.

An extremely talented professional, Armando performed at my wedding with his band, singing and also then playing guitar, Santana's Europa, for our special song, Of course, people noticed how expressive and heartfelt every moment of his performing was that day. He actually was part of the celebration, not just someone singing for a crowded wedding. He embraced it, dancing with guests!! Laughing with friends!! Truly a special person.

My Mom was  celebrating her 80th birthday. My husband  decided to cook breakfast for her and her sisters. We asked Armando if I he would come and serenade them! It  was so wonderful! He played his guitar and sang Italian songs. They were so exited and happy! We will never forget that day!  You will be missed. RIP Armando. 💜

Armando was always a fun, happy kid.  It was fun playing in the band or playing soccer with him at Bulkeley High.  At one of our last soccer reunions, he was one of the most vocal motivators to play a soccer game among us, just for kicks.  Some of us considered the idea and started to look into the possibility of making it happen (not an easy task at our age, 60 something).  Almost 2 weeks ago, he saw me at friendly's and yelled my name and I saw his smiling face. We hugged without knowing it would be our last time.  I'll miss you amigo and don't forget to sing us a song when you get a chance.  Walter R. Montes.

I played soccer with Armando on the 1976-1977 Bulkeley H.S. team.  I will always remember him as a focused, and goal-oriented individual.  Rest in peace, my friend.
