Arnold was born January 18, 1956 in L’Aquila, Italy and was raised in Hartford, where he attended Hartford Schools. He enlisted in the United States Army right out of High School and served our nation for three years, attaining the rank of Sergeant. When his three years of active duty were up, Arnold transferred to the National Guard, where he served for five additional years. He worked as a Meat Cutter with Big Y Supermarkets. Arnold loved spending time with his family, especially his adored daughter Blair.
Along with Blair, Arnold will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his siblings, two sisters Dora Sessa and Denise D’Amico, his brother Peter Giammarco with his wife Susan, the mother of his daughter, Sharon Giammarco; and many family and friends both here in the US and Italy.
Interment will be held on Saturday, January 30th at 9:45 a.m. at the Middletown Veterans Cemetery, Bow Lane Middletown. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery chapel.
