Arthur Hudon

Arthur H. Hudon, Jr., 86, of Wethersfield, beloved husband of Marjorie (Waterhouse) Hudon, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2017 with his family by his side. Arthur was born in Hartford on May 21, 1930 and was the son of the late Arthur H. and Margaret (O’Connell) Hudon. He grew up in the South End of Hartford moving to Wethersfield where he lived his entire adult life. Arthur was a proud Veteran of the US Navy and served on the USS Midway. He had a great career spanning 50 years in the insurance field retiring from the Watson Group. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed many years as a member of the Wethersfield Country Club. Arthur also enjoyed his sports starting with coaching the boys Corpus Christi basketball team and his annual trip to the Big East Tournament with his good friend John Donovan. In addition to his beautiful wife Marjorie, Arthur leaves his sons: Michael Hudon and his wife Ann of Wethersfield, Ronald Hudon of Wethersfield, Arthur J. Hudon and his wife Jill of Wethersfield, his daughters: Deb Schaffer and her husband Ted of New Haven, Noreen Selinger and her husband Joe of Stonington, Anne Sirotnak and her husband Mike of Sherman and Kathleen Edmonds and her husband Brian of Fairfield. In addition Arthur leaves his thirteen beautiful grandchildren and his two great granddaughters. A Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church, 608 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield. There will be no calling hours and the burial will be private.
