

Betty (Wolfe) Porter, 78, of Hartford, beloved wife of the late Larry Porter, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Glastonbury Health Care Center. Born on September 28, 1944 in Ford City, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Thelma (Burdette) Wolfe.
A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Betty will be forever missed by her three children; John and his wife Linda of Hartford, Rose Powers and her husband Terry of Georgia and Irene Mallory and her husband Dennis of Virginia, as well as her seven adored grandchildren and four cherished great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Betty was predeceased by her brothers, Melvin and Robert, as well as her sisters, Margaret and Marietta.
A Graveside Service for Betty will be held on Friday, June 9 at 12:00 p.m. at the State Veterans’ Cemetery , 317 Bow Lane, Middletown.
