Boodram “Tiger” Ishwar, 64, of Hartford, passed away surrounded by the love of his family on September 28, 2026. He was born in Guyana on February 13, 1962, to the late Peter and Tolapati (Celis) Ishwar.
In 2000, Boodram moved to the United States, where he worked in agriculture for many years. Through his hard work, warmth, and generous spirit, he built a life filled with family, friendship, and countless memories.
Boodram was known for his wonderful sense of humor and his ability to bring laughter wherever he went. A true jokester and the life of the party, he loved music, dancing, and spending time with the people he cared about most. He enjoyed sharing some Fireball, telling stories, and, most of all, sharing laughs with family and friends. His infectious personality and joyful spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Boodram leaves behind a host of loving family members and dear friends both here in the United States and in Guyana. His memory will live on through the many lives he touched and the laughter and love he shared so freely.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield, CT 06109.
A funeral service will be held at the funeral chapel on Monday, October 5, 2026, at 10:00 AM.
Interment will be held privately with his immediate family.
