Christina (DeSimone) DiLoreto

Christina (DeSimone) DiLoreto, 80, of Rocky Hill, beloved wife of the late Antonio DiLoreto, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 13, 2016. Born in Hartford on June 25, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Rosa (DiLoreto) DeSimone. Christina worked for the State of CT at the DMV for many years. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she will be dearly missed by her four children, Donato, Joseph, Maria-Pia and Rosanna; nine adored grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She is also survived by her brother, John, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Rocco and Anthony and sister, Lena.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday (June 16) at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Incarnation, 544 Prospect St., Wethersfield. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Family and friends may call prior to the Mass on Thursday, from 8:15-9:15 a.m., at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield.
