Clara Arnone (Fargnoli)

Clara (Fargnoli) Arnone, 88, of Rocky Hill, formerly of Wethersfield, loving wife of the late Anthony F. Arnone, died peacefully, Wednesday, (January 26, 2011) with her devoted family by her bedside. She was born January 7, 1923 in Willington and was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Maturo) Fargnoli. Clara worked at the former G. Fox & Company for 30 years, retiring many years ago. She was a longtime faithful communicant of Corpus Christi Church, Wethersfield. Her family was her life, she will be dearly missed. She is survived by her son, Frank A. Arnone and wife, Janet of Bolton, her two daughters, Deborah Abbate and husband, Joseph of Wethersfield and Carol MacArthur and husband, J. Edward of Laguna Woods, CA; grandchildren, James MacArthur and wife, Jody, Christine Toler and husband, Geoffrey, Ashley and Dwight Arnone, Tracy, Joseph IV and Nicole Abbate; twin great grandchildren, Cameron and Aiden Toler; her brother, Michael Fargnoli of Berlin; sisters, Angeline Garland and husband, Paul of West Hartford, Pauline DeNicola of East Hartford and Frances Fournier of Rocky Hill; sister-in-law, Rita Arnone of Rocky Hill as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Mario Fargnoli and sister, Mary Dandurand, brothers-in-law, Henry Fournier, William DeNicola and Joseph and John Arnone and her sister-in-law MaryAnn Fargnoli. The family would like to thank the staff at Mapleview Manor for the care and compassion shown to Clara and her family, especially, Rafeila, Jackie, Hector and Eddie. Also a very special thank you to Deacon Seth English for all his weekly visits. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church, Wethersfield. Everyone is asked to go directly to the church. The burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Calling hours are Friday from 4-7 p.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield.
