Clementina “Clem” (Filosa) Celli, 90, of Rocky Hill, beloved wife of the late William Celli, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 25, 2018. Born in Hartford on October 7, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Ernesto and Albina “Lina” (Verdone) Filosa. Clem was a graduate of Hartford Public High School and worked for 30 years for the State of CT Department of Transportation, retiring as a supervisor. A loving mother and grandmother, she will be forever missed by her three children, Ann Maria Michaud, Angela Ollari and husband Steven and William “Bill” Celli and his wife Lisa Roth-Celli. Clem also leaves her four adored grandchildren, Lauren (Michaud) Green, Marisa Valley, Douglas Labbe and Sabrina Celli and her 8 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Michael Filosa and wife Barbara, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Cecilia Merrow. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday (October 31) at 11 a.m. at Christ the King Parish (Sacred Heart Church), 56 Hartford Ave., Wethersfield. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Family and friends may call on Wednesday morning, prior to the Mass, from 8:30-10:30 a.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield.
