Cynthia “Cyndi” (Parker) Duzik, 69, of South Windsor, beloved wife for 27 years of Raymond R. Duzik, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, April 20, 2019. Born in Hartford on December 30, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Leonard Adelord Parker and Ann Dorothy (Regish) Parker. Cyndi grew up in Canton and attended Mt. St. Joseph Academy in West Hartford. She worked for many years for Sage Allen and then Cherry & Webb, as well as 10 years for a local Naturopath as their office manager. Cyndi and Ray enjoyed taking ski trips all over the Northeast and traveling to Myrtle Beach, SC each spring. She also looked forward to yearly trips with the Sage Allen Sisters and was a Hartford Whalers season ticket holder for many years. In addition to her devoted husband Ray, Cyndi will be forever missed by her three sisters-in-law, Ruth Rawson and her children Brett, Susan and Christopher, Rosalie Pohorylo and her husband Alan; Carmen DeLorso and her children Kim and Ryan Parker; brother-in-law, Edward Duzik; Ed’s two daughters, Karolyn Squires and her husband Matt, and Kristen Johnson and fiancé Billy.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday (April 26) from 4-7 p.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield.
