Darlene Moquin, 75, of East Hartford, beloved wife of the late George Moquin, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, October 7, 2022. Darlene was born in Hartford on July 28, 1947 and was the daughter of the late Peter Silvestri and Catherine (Galotti) Silvestri. Darlene was a Bulkeley High School graduate class of 1965 and was retired from Hartford Steam Boiler where she worked as an accountant.
Darlene is survived by her loving sisters; Pamela Drapeau and her husband Michael and Patricia Capasso and her husband Ottavio. She also leaves her five “babies”; Gina Zaino (Rino), Tom Capasso (Denise), Joseph Capasso (Soula), Laurie Kobelski (Kevin) and Amy Hilburn (Lee). In addition, she leaves her nine great nieces and nephews as well as many friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to her caregiver, Indra Crespo, who she called her “Right Arm” and became like family. Funeral services will be private.
